Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico with a family that loved music. She spent the majority of her early years listening to classical music Boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music, as well classic classical music. Ana loves Tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas, and every form of drama. Following her singing lessons with mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous singing lessons at the age of 16 under the tutelage of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. When she moved to America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002, she made her way to southern California. She performs solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a teacher and musician she has volunteered for numerous community projects because of her passion and love for music. Ana has been a member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank Inland Master Chorale members for the permission to sing the traditional Latin American song.
