MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN for his debut full-length album. The album reached number 8 in the Top Latin Albums Chart. In the following year, he was a part of Ozuna to record the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia was made available in 2020 by Noriel as well as his Dopamina album that year. In 2021 he recorded a duet for TINI's hit track Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, since both his mom and older brother are professional musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music is a must. As a child, he played the ukulele guitar as well as piano. The first choice for his career was to become a vet, but his brother Julian encouraged him to learn how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban instructor. The end result was that he realized his talents for singing, and the result changed the course his life.
